What you will achieve

Enable A2-level learners to reach the B1 CEFR level in a professional context, in preparation for the DCLEP certification (a single 2h30 exam based on a realistic professional scenario).

  • Understand the main points of talks on familiar professional topics
  • Read and understand common professional documents (emails, notes, procedures)
  • Communicate effectively in common professional situations
  • Write clear professional emails, a CV and a cover letter
  • Pass the DCLEP exam in 2h30

    Grammar consolidation (8h) Professional tenses, expressing obligation and possibility, logical connectors

    Professional French and sector-specific vocabulary (10h) Company life, written and oral communication, vocabulary for commerce, administration and services
  3. 3
    Professional listening comprehension (8h) Professional exchanges, meetings, active listening strategies
  4. 4
    Professional speaking (8h) Professional self-presentation, common interactions, phone communication
  5. 5
    Professional reading comprehension (8h) Emails, procedures, job offers, job descriptions, simple reports
  6. 6
    Professional writing (8h) Professional email, forms, CV, cover letter
  7. 7
    Targeted DCLEP exam preparation (10h) Methodology, typical scenarios, 2 full 2h30 mock exams, individual debrief, targeted revision

How is the training delivered?

Pedagogical approach

In-person lessons. Communicative and action-oriented approach. Role plays and real-world scenarios. Mid-course mock. Full 2h30 mock exam with individual debrief.

Resources & materials

A2-B1 professional French textbooks, authentic company documents (emails, procedures, reports), professional audio and video materials, DCLEP mock papers, interactive whiteboard, equipped classroom.

Trainer profile

FLE-qualified trainers (Master's or equivalent), extensive A2-B1 teaching experience, in-depth knowledge of the CEFR and DCLEP. Sensitivity to professional integration learners and solid business world experience.

Monitoring and certification

  • Attendance sheets signed every half-day
  • Mid-course mock simulation with individual debrief
  • Full final simulation (2h30) under exam conditions
  • Individualised skills assessment
  • Certificate of course completion issued at the end
  • Immediate and follow-up satisfaction survey (3 months after training)
